It provides a totally secure grip when the index finger is locked in place through the hole. The wielder can also pivot the blade around the index finger for a quick change of grip, and even use the ring as a means of extending his or her reach by as much as four inches. Made from one solid piece of 1055 Carbon steel the Shanghai Shadow has a tough spring temper and twin hollow-ground edges. It is provided fully sharpened, and equipped with a heavy-duty military style Secure-Ex sheath.
